Ethiopia Tells UN It Is Acting in Self-Defence Against Eritrea

Ethiopia told the UN Security Council on Friday that it is taking measures in self-defence against Eritrea, according to the Associated Press via News18.

Ethiopia accused its neighbour of sending troops across the border and occupying parts of northern Ethiopia.

The declaration adds to existing tensions between the two countries, the report said.
