Ethiopia Sees India as Key Partner Amid Horn of Africa Tensions, Envoy Says

Amid renewed tensions in Northern Ethiopia, Ethiopia’s Chargé d’Affaires at the Ethiopian Embassy in New Delhi, Ambassador Nebiyu Tedla, said the African nation has an “inherent right to defend itself” but has always been a supporter of negotiations and peaceful cooperation, according to Firstpost.

Tedla told Firstpost that India has expressed solidarity with Addis Ababa after being briefed on the situation, and that Ethiopia sees India as a key partner amid tensions in the Horn of Africa.
