Student Recruited to ISIS by AI Bot Before Traveling to Somalia Jailed for 12 Years
A student who was recruited to join Islamic State by an AI bot on social media and traveled to Somalia to become a martyr has been jailed for 12 years for terrorism-related offences, the Daily Mail reported.
Mohamed Mohamoud, 22, flew to Somalia in January last year after telling his family he was “going to go to the beaches and see other family members and enjoy myself,” according to the report.
