Yomif Kejelcha Makes History In Buenos Aires, Smashes Half Marathon World Record With Stunning 56:51 Run
Ethiopia’s Yomif Kejelcha smashed the men’s half marathon world record at the Media Maraton Ciudad de Buenos Aires on August 23, clocking 56 minutes 51 seconds.
This improves the previous record set by Uganda’s Jacob Kiplimo by 29 seconds. If ratified, Kejelcha will reclaim the record he previously set in 2024.
